Elisabeth is a Viennese, German-language musical commissioned by the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW), with book/lyrics by Michael Kunze and music by Sylvester Levay. It portrays the life and death of the Empress consort of Austria, Elisabeth of Bavaria, wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I. It has been translated into seven languages and seen by over nine million spectators worldwide, making it the most successful German-language musical of all time. .... and my second favourite musical >3 (after Phantom of the Opera of course!). I saw the musical 2007 in Berlin together with my mother and it was so fantastic! If you have the chance to see it, you should go and watch it! It an totally new musical experience. The whole scene is computer generated, the black humour and how they make fool of the "kitsch version of Elisabeth" (also known as "Sissi") - aaaah so genous! And of course, the voices. Uwe Kröger (Erik from "Phantom of the Opera", The Beast from "Beauty and the Beast", Cardinal Richeleu from "3 Musketiere", Van Helsing from "Dracula" etc . my musical loooooooooooooove >//////< ) and Pia Douves in one musical: that HAS to be good (both are my favourite musical-actors).

After the show I was really inspired, but I never drew all these ideas, because my father died one day after we saw the musical...
But after I again listened to this great musical the inspiration got me once more! And so I drew this picture.
I really like the musical, because I like Elisabeth. She is such a strong woman! Her story impressed me and of course I like the idea behind "The Death". I think it is an really interessting idea to personlize the death, specially in relation to Elisabeth who so many times stand in front of the death.

... oky enough talking xD° I would like to say more about the picture itself, but I think it would be too much... xx

So.

Elisabeth is luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv.

Sadly, there is Saiyon on it, sadly, I will see him a lot more. Him and his righteousness, his Blue-like green eyes, and his supercute fluffy hair ;A;° I don't want to like him xD I hope my GxG-ness will protect me ò__o;;! The difference between Blue and Saiyon is nicely illustrated; one wears white with decoration, the other one simple black~♥

Nocturn wears...a...black/white...striped shirt...that means there only are two possibilities.

1) he is a prisoner
2) he is a gay Frenchman

XDDDDDDDD
*GETS KILLED FOR BOTH*
Naah~

Ich kann mich bei diesem Bild einfach nicht so richtig auskommentieren, ohne etwas zu sagen, was ich nicht sollte xD
Also SORRY.

I really like it~ USUAL THING, YES--- the pose for Green and Blue is so haaard ;A;
